I have been suffering from headaches since I was 13. About six years ago the migraine started. The intensity of the attacks increased and came so frequently, that 4 years ago my life got thrown off the tracks. I became disabled and barely dared leaving the house. I did not take any pills and endured the pain. By now my whole body was constantly in pain and I feared I was going insane.
Thanks to the Migraine Clinic Königstein I learned to handle the migraine. I changed my life around. I am now much more relaxed, even able to say "no" without having a bad conscience. Many things just don’t bother me anymore. I have been going through some changes both professionally and privately.
The migraine attacks are fewer (once a month or even less frequently) and not as strong. Taking Ascotop or Paracetamol benefits me. I can only recommend any person suffering from migraines to treating yourself to something relaxing every day, such as autogenic training, Qi-Gong, herbal teas, resting, or a calming hobby. Just ignore the many things around you, dare to cancel an event, have time for yourself in between appointments, relax your mind and think of nothing except for one sensation: Life is joyous!
